Hi, I’m Brijit and these are my Digits !
My love of nail art has been an obsession for a while. I would desperately try to get the perfect stripes on my polish to wear to school and tyrannise my mum to help me find little bits of cheap jewellery that I could destroy to add to my nails as dangles. Most of my childhood, my mum brought us up on her own, and I loved opening the fridge every morning and looking at her polish collection as I grabbed the milk for my cereal !
Although I’m an English girl and always will be, I’m now living in France with my lovely boyfriend, who tolerates my extensive collection of brushes, paints, foils, glitters, laser lace, decals, patches and, of course, polishes!
I first started this blog as a personal project to help me index, order and record and I figured I should swatch what I have before buying more, right? Well, that hasn’t happened (I’m still collecting more polish than I have swatched) and I’ve decided that, actually, the fun part of blogging is sharing !
I work full-time in an office in the centre of Paris, and so although I’d love to do nail art professionally, I don’t currently have the time to work towards a licence. One day…
For the moment, this little corner of the blogosphere is my little nail art world, my sanctuary from Real Life, where most people don’t spend hours a week gawking at polish collections and trying to paint tiny daisies on their toenails.
