Well, I’m going away until Sunday, so I’m afraid I’m about to spam you all with my last manis for the Pre-Spring Challenge ! Sorry in advance, I’m worried that if I schedule the posts, the links might not work properly.
I thought I had such a great idea for this one, but actually it didn’t come out great !
Maybe it would have been better with a little black liner around the swimsuits?
So this weekend I added a photo to my gravatar. As much as I love taking photos of my hands, I’m not a big fan of my face, so this is a big step for me !
Today’s theme is a pastel tape mani. I used this as an excuse to try out an idea I’ve been thinking of for a while, it’s a fishtail, but with tape to create a small gap between the colours. I think the lilac is a bit too pale, but this turned out pretty well 
Well, as it’s my work’s end of year party tomorrow (I know; last year it was in February!), this post is going up early !
The theme for day 5 is sky. Now, although cloud manis are amazing, I decided to go for something different for this one.
In December, Sir Patrick Moore passed away. He was an amateur astronomer who presented The Sky at Night, from 24 April 1957 until 7 January 2013 (which was filmed before he died). Although I never watched it really, he literally inspired generations of British physicists and astronomers, and really, if that doesn’t merit a nail-art tribute, what does?!
So here is my Sky at Night

This is my first Color Club swatch, and I’ve chosen Silver Lining to be the first :
The formula is pretty nice, and it’s nice to know there aren’t too many nasties in it.
However, I wouldn’t call this silver ! To me, silver should be metallic, but this is more of a light grey pearl :
Still, it’s a flattering colour, dries quite fast. Three coats is all it took and it’s nice and shiny !
So silver it is not, but this is still a keeper and I’ll be adding some more Color Club to my stash in the future.
